What the ten gods say about work
Every stem in a BaZi chart is named by its relationship to the Day Master: the ten gods. Officer and Seven Killings are linked with structure, leadership and rules; Wealth with business and resources; Eating God and Hurting Officer with creativity, expression and products; Resource with study, research and advice; Friend and Rob Wealth with partnership and independence. The ten gods that stand out across your pillars are the first clue to your strengths.
The Career palace in Zi Wei Dou Shu
In a Zi Wei chart, the Career palace describes how you work and which kinds of career fit your temperament. The main star sitting there, such as Zi Wei, Tian Fu, Wu Qu or Tai Yang, adds another angle. Read it together with the Life and Wealth palaces for the full picture.
Turn hints into action
Treat the chart as a set of questions rather than a verdict. How much of your strength does your current role use? Which skill is missing? List the three settings where you did your best work and compare them with the chart.
